Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician focuses on ensure uptime, and availability of the installed automated equipment onsite.
What the role involves
- Ensure uptime, and availability of the installed automated equipment Onsite.
- Repair of all Onsite automated equipment.
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults.
- Respond to automation faults and breakdowns in a timely manner ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ensure optimum levels of Onsite spare parts are maintained.
Skills and requirements
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC or equivalent qualification in engineering discipline [multiskilled preferable].
- Experience of working with automated material handling systems.
- Capable of understanding Mechanical, Electrical and/or Electronic technical manuals and drawings.
- Basic understanding of control systems and techniques.
