  • Inspect, maintain, repair, install, design, or improve technical systems according to the role.
  • Diagnose issues, complete checks, and keep records or handovers accurate.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

  • Ensures that all plant and equipment Onsite is repaired and serviced to recognised standards and as identified within the preventative maintenance schedule ensuring the minimum do.
  • Organise own maintenance and required equipment to ensure that operation and maintenance of machinery is completed safely, in the shortest possible time within the time scale deman.
  • Monitor workflow, be aware of potential problems and take immediate corrective action through own action or by referral upwards.
  • Effective liaison with Depot and Operations Managers, Section Leaders and Control Room to resolve difficulties and enquiries.

Candidate fit

  • Motivated, organised, hold a City and Guilds Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification and have the following skills.
  • Knowledge of 16th or17th Edition electrical regulations.
  • Proven electrical/mechanical maintenance background.
