Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician focuses on provide high operational availability, and an efficient breakdown repair service. diagnosis running faults and ensuring effective repairs and improvements are conducted within mini.

What the role involves

  • Provide high operational availability, and an efficient breakdown repair service. Diagnosis running faults and ensuring effective repairs and improvements are conducted within mini.
  • Develop and implement a programme of planned preventative maintenance and inspection to minimise downtime.
  • Develop engineered solutions to these issues.
  • Provide records of recurrent faulting.
  • Carry out minor maintenance operations to plant and equipment.
  • To liaise with external contractors on specific repairs/maintenance work.

Skills and requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification - electrical bias preferred.
  • Fault finding in control panels on PLC’s, VSD’s and relay logic circuit.
