This Site Engineer Apprenticeship opportunity is built around carrying out inspection and test check sheets, pre concrete slump test, concrete test cube controls etc. It would suit someone who can bring we’re excited to expand our Operations division with Site Engineer Apprentice to join our Professional Development Programme for our 2026 intake, based in the United Utilities Fram to the role.

What the work leans on

Assisting the Site Engineering team in setting out and dimensional control. Equipment management and calibration, weekly, monthly instrument checks etc. Aware of safe systems of work, RAMS and COSHH assessments.

Where the technical work sits

• Carry out inspection and test check sheets, pre concrete slump test, concrete test cube controls etc.
• Preparing permits to break ground, approved by senior members of the Site Engineering team.
• Assisting/ aware in maintaining the drawing register.

Technical requirements

• Start your journey on one of our construction sites where you will gain experience and training within the Site Engineering teams.
• Academic day release for attendance at local technical college for relevant formal qualification.
