What the role involves

  • Execute repairs and modifications on topside structures, drilling equipment, ballast tanks, bulkheads, and other critical areas.
  • Carry out welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and alloy materials.
  • Read and interpret structural and piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  • Ensure welds are performed to DNV, ABS, API, and client specifications, adhering to approved welding procedures and standards.
  • Conduct visual inspection of completed welds.
  • Assist in NDT preparation.
