Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks according to project specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently to produce high-quality welds.
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain and care for welding equipment and tools, reporting any defects or malfunctions promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities, materials used, and work completed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder in industrial or construction settings.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of welding safety procedures and standards.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant welding certifications or qualifications are preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site, sometimes in challenging environments.
